چکیده

We show that the derived equivalence between full defect blocks of S L ( 2 , q ) in defining characteristic and their Brauer correspondants can be presented as a composition perverse equivalences.

How perverse is TQFT?

In this talk we will introduce Jones polynomial and Khovanov's homology of a knot. These topological invariants are (conjecturally) related to perverse sheaves on Grassmannians. We will try to understand how, and how understanding that might lead to new developments in Topological Quantum Field Theory.

Perverse Sheaves on Grassmannians

We give a complete quiver description of the category of perverse sheaves on Hermitian symmetric spaces in types A and D, constructible with respect to the Schubert stratification. The calculation is microlocal, and uses the action of the Borel group to study the geometry of the conormal variety Λ.

PERVERSE SHEAVES AND coO - ACTIONS

where t· x denotes the action of t on x. The set Xw is known to be a locally-closed c* -stable algebraic subvariety of X isomorphic to an affine space. The pieces Xw form a cell decomposition X = UWEW XW ' W E W, the socalled Bialynicki-Birula decomposition. We assume this decomposition to be an algebraic stratification of X (the closure of a cell may not be a union of cells, in general). Let ....

Branes in hearts with perverse sheaves

Various topological properties of D-branes in the type–IIA theory are captured by the topologically twisted B-model, treating D-branes as objects in the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves on the compact part of the target space. The set of basic D-branes wrapped on the homology cycles of the compact space are taken to reside in the heart of t-structures of the derived category of cohe...

On Perverse and Second-Order Punishment in

The fact that many people take it upon themselves to impose costly punishment on free riders helps to explain why collective action sometimes succeeds despite the prediction of received theory. But while individually imposed sanctions lead to higher contributions in public goods experiments, there is usually little or no net efficiency gain from them, because punishment is costly and at times m...
